A Beautiful Fall Day on the Homestead

I took the puppies out for a walk this beautiful morning and thought I would share the beauty of my property on a crisp fall day.

We have had a lot of wind as a cold front moved in and the trees are being stripped of their leaves.

Acorns litter the property in the thousands.

Leaves have blanketed the ground.

Berries are scarce.

The leaves are an amazing red color.

Some leaves are still in the changing process.

The sky is incredible blue.

Time to put the a/c unit in storage.

Boots enjoys the outdoors and being photographed.

The chickens are fat and happy.

Dead trees will provide tons of firewood for the firepit.

Even baby trees change colors.

The puppies enjoy getting out in the yard when the sun is warm.

Matilda's coat blends with the dry leaves.

Never a day goes by that I am not thankful for my little homestead in the country. Life is good! Happy Sunday everyone!
