Cool Cast Iron

Last week I went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. I love Cracker Barrel because they have some really cool, old-school stuff. They also sell Lodge Cast Iron. Luckily Lodge products were on sale! Whoot! I have been wanting a double-sided griddle/grill that covers two burners. I was so excited to find they had one and it was on sale. Total, including tax, was $52.46. The cost when not on sale is $74.95 plus tax, so it was a good deal. Even better, my good friend who I was with decided to buy it for me as an early birthday present. How sweet was that?


The model is called the Reversible Pro Grid Iron Griddle #LPG13.

Here are the stats taken directly from their website:

• 20" x 10-7/16" x 7/8" depth
• Extremely versatile
• Fits over two stove top burners
• One side is a griddle; flip side a grill pan

This will make my two burner cook top a little more versatile. I can't wait to try out making pancakes on one side and burgers on the other. I also like that it can be stored on its side so its footprint is small. I would still like to get a single-burner griddle, but this one is another perfect addition to my tiny home!
