Independence Day Should Be Celebrated July 2nd

Today is American Independence Day. We celebrate today as the day we told King George we would be his subjects no more. America has evolved since that time, finding her first steps faltering as we fought a civil war, and finally becoming one of the strongest nations on the planet. America means different things to different people, but to me she represents the strength of a people who, when united in a common cause, are not to be trifled with.
