Once again the dollar store has come through for me. I found white Zote soap bars there yesterday. Zote is used when you hand wash, make your own laundry soap, or use a washboard. I got six bars for, you guessed it, six bucks and tax. I also found packages of 50 clothespins for just a buck. I will buy five or so of those so I have some put by. Clothespins are exposed to dampness and elements, so they may need frequent replacement. I was just thrilled to be able to buy these items to "put by."
